Arriving at the Amonti Chalets feels less like checking into a resort than stepping into a private alpine village: dark-timber forms rise gently from the hillside, following the contours of the land, and the only sounds are birdsong, wind and the distant rush of meltwater. Situated at the quiet end of the Ahrntal — South Tyrol's northernmost valley, encircled by the peaks and glaciers of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park — the property comprises 23 individually sited chalets where interiors of rustic oak and stone open through floor-to-ceiling glass onto a landscape of extraordinary scale.
