At the foot of the Rote Flüh, whose red-veined limestone glows above the village of Nesselwängle at sunset, Chalet Grand Flüh is an ensemble of three reclaimed-wood chalets set in the Tannheimer Tal, a Tyrolean high valley at 1,100 metres long celebrated as one of the most beautiful in Europe. The scent of aged Zirbenholz fills every room, fires crackle in stone hearths, and each chalet opens onto its own private garden with sauna, outdoor hot tub and fire pit beneath an unbroken panorama of peaks. The intimate Tiny Chalet — just 33 square metres, with a sleeping gallery tucked beneath the roof — distils the alpine escape to its purest, most romantic form, while the larger Wohlfühl Chalet stretches across 130 square metres with a freestanding bathtub gazing directly at the massif. Six ski areas, 140 kilometres of cross-country trails and 300 kilometres of hiking routes radiate from the doorstep, making Grand Flüh as much a base for the active as a place to do very little at all.

Highlights
The Tiny Chalet is a standalone retreat for two wrapped entirely in aged timber, where a wooden ladder leads to a sleeping gallery beneath the roof — rain on wood overhead, a crackling fire below.
Every chalet has its own private outdoor hot tub, sauna and fire pit, with nothing between the warm water and the night sky but mountain air.
The Rote Flüh massif, a 2,108-metre limestone peak whose red veins catch the last alpine light, forms the unbroken panorama from every terrace and garden.
The Tannheimer Tal, voted Austria's most beautiful hiking region, surrounds the property with deep-green forest, wide meadows, pristine lakes and a silence rarely found this accessible.
