Perched on a small plateau at 1,820 metres, at the foot of Monte Ivigna and on the very edge of the Falzeben piste, Chalet Zuegg is one of those rare places where the ski day begins and ends at the door. Guests arrive in winter by snowmobile from the valley, a short and rather magical journey up through the snow, and are welcomed with a fireplace, a private sauna and open-air whirlpool. Once the lifts close and the day visitors have gone down to Merano, the plateau becomes wonderfully quiet, and the chalets feel entirely one's own. Nor is this a winter-only pleasure: in autumn the hiking trails lead straight from the door into the golden larch forests, and the evenings by the fire have their own unhurried pleasure.

Zero metres to the next adventure — Skis, hiking boots or mountain bike: the day starts directly outside the chalet.
Private Sauna, Open-Air Jacuzzi — Each of the three private chalets has its own sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi on the terrace.
Breakfast at the Door — A fresh breakfast basket is brought directly to the accommodation in the morning, making breakfast something to have privately at the chalet.
South Tyrolean Cooking, On Site — The restaurant in the main house serves South Tyrolean dishes and contemporary variations during the day. For evenings in, guests can pre-order from a take-away menu.
After the Mountain Closes — When the lifts stop and the restaurant empties, the plateau belongs almost entirely to its overnight guests.

Merano 2000 offers around 40 km of pistes, plus family skiing, snowpark, tobogganing and mountain huts.
Check-in takes place at Chalet Mirabell in Avelengo, followed by a transfer directly to Zuegg.
Free underground parking at Chalet Mirabell; EV charging available at extra cost.
Minimum stay of two nights; children are welcome from age three.
Dogs up to 30 kg are welcome in the chalets; restrictions apply to the lofts.
