Reached via a mountain road that climbs through dense woodland until a residents-only sign marks the end of the outside world, Chalet Rebecca turns forest bathing into something real: a heated infinity pool among the pines, a freestanding tub gazing out at the trees, and 40,000 square metres of private forest where the only neighbours are deer, foxes and three resident alpacas.

The property sits at 1,000 metres on a south-facing slope in the geographical centre of Styria, its 220 square metres across three storeys combining Swiss stone pine beds, a sculptural open fireplace, and panoramic glass with views across the Mur Valley to the Seckau Alps. Space for eleven guests makes it equally suited to group and family gatherings and romantic escapes for two.
