Wrapped in four hectares of alpine meadow, ancient orchard, and dense forest, this 16th-century Styrian farmstead stands in complete seclusion at 1,000 metres, its hand-hewn timbers and weathered roof truss now framing panoramic glass that draws the Seckau Alps into every room.

The scent of stone pine rises from the beds, cherry and apple trees blossom beyond the windows each spring, and wild raspberries grow within arm's reach of the terrace where a private spa awaits — Hot tub, sauna, and a natural swimming pond fed by mountain springs. Inside, a designer fireplace casts warmth across rooms steeped in five centuries of craft; outside. Graz lies forty minutes south, yet the pervading sense is one of having slipped beyond the reach of ordinary life.
