(Chalet Unterboden 5 is just 1.5km away from the Berghaus.) This makes the different group chalets perfect for shared vacations and to celebrate one or another occasion. The very special charm of the traditional but modern renovated accommodations, warmly welcomes you & gives you the feeling of never wanting to leave again. With only 206 inhabitants, Schröcken is the perfect place to find peace and tranquility. A breathtaking mountain world and legendary slopes await you in the largest skiing area in Austria.

What can I expect of the accommodations at the Berghaus Schröcken?
With seven bedrooms, three bathrooms, a spacious living area and private garden with a sauna house and hot tub, the Vitalchalet Unterboden 5 brings a refreshingly modern warmth to wood-panelled chalet style. Set high above the snowy ground, full of soft, warm textures to counteract the crisp chill of the winter air, Chalet Unterboden 5 is the perfect spot to curl up and enjoy a moment of quiet. Each room is equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, DVD, radio and a safe.
Like all accommodations of Berghaus Schröcken, Chalet Edelweiss is also perfect for groups. 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms make a stay possible for up to 11 people.
Beside the private sauna, the exclusive and heatable outdoor bathtub is the highlight of this chalet. Nothing better than lying in the hot water in the evening, the cold mountain air around you and the clear starry sky above - can you already feel it?
Like the chalet Unterboden 5, it’s 1,5km away from the Berghaus offering pure privacy for you and your companions.
With space for up to 20 people (7 sleeping rooms!), Chalet Apartment Tannberg might be the largest chalet of Berghaus Schröcken. The chalet is brand new (finished in December 2021). Traditional wood, modern technology and pretty details, this is what best describes the Chalet Apartment Tannberg. Besides the lovely fireplace with cozy seating area, Chalet Tannberg features a covered terrace with a grill and the absolute highlight: a heated outdoor pool! The perfect way to end the day with your friends!
The Chalet Apartment Arlberg combines the privacy of your own chalet with the services of a resort. It can accommodate up to 18 people and has very similar facilities to Chalet Tannberg (heated pool, sauna, relaxing room..). Do I get Breakfast? What else do I need to know?
The culinary offer varies between the accommodations. Whereas the Chalet Unterboden 5 and the Vitalchalet Edelweiß are self-catering chalets, the Chalet-Apartment Tannberg & Arlberg have the opportunity to additionally book a breakfast buffet or a dinner at ‘Alwins Stammtisch (opening in July 2022). Upon request, the fridge of the Apartment will be filled with delicacies from the region. In the nearby local village store you will find a surprisingly large selection of specialties. The very best: many products come from the region, so you can taste typical local delicacies.
The spacious kitchens of the accommodations offer enough space to cook delicious food for the whole crew and have fun together at the stove. The kitchens are pretty much equipped with everything you need to cook - a variety of dishes (ceramic hob, commercial dishwasher, side-by-side fridge-freezer, oven). Blender, a baking pan, a spaetzle slicer, a raclette machine and fondue pot are ready to culinarily enrich your day.
