Every meal showcases self-made and regional selections. Dishes sourced locally and regionally create an exceptional gastronomic journey. The chalet prepares teas, bakes bread, offers homemade jams and presents house honey.
Themed evenings, such as Fondue Night on Fridays and the weekend's Tiroler Abend offer a variety of dining experiences. For evenings at the Mountain Chalet Restaurant Sternhütte it is possible to book cozy spots in dining rooms or on the panoramic terrace, weather permitting.

During the summer months, the mountains invite you to go on hikes, leisurely strolls and summit expeditions. You’re also welcome to relax in the sauna house including a Finnish sauna and a relaxation area with mountain hay beds.
In winter, Chalet Stern is perfectly suitable for skiing and sledding due to its location right next to the ski slope and lift.
An all time favorite for romantic date days is the Rossy Park and Llama Trekking. Located near the Rosskopf mountain station, this mini petting zoo is home to various mountain animals. Experience the Llama Trekking, where you can not only feed and pet the animals but also lead them on a leash through the surroundings with advance arrangement.
Thrill-seekers can look forward to the new attraction at Rosskopf. Zoom down the summer toboggan run at speeds of up to 40 km/h from the Sterzing Hausberg to the valley. Surrounded by spectacular mountain panoramas, this 1,303-meter descent towards Sterzing promises an unforgettable family experience, right at the Chalet Stern.
